Rt Hon Peter D Robinson

Peter served as First Minister of Northern Ireland from 2008 until 2016 and Leader of the then-largest party, the Democratic Unionist Party. Until his retirement in 2016, he was involved in politics for over 40 years, first as a Council Alderman and Mayor and then as the Member of the British Parliament for over 30 years. When the Stormont Assembly was restored he was again elected and became Minister for Regional Development, he was then appointed as Finance Minister and later he led the historic power-sharing Executive as Northern Ireland's First Minister.

Now, though a business consultant, he is heavily involved in conflict resolution and is an Honorary Professor at Queens University, Belfast. He is a member of His Majesty King Charles III's Privy Counsel.

Peter has written a number of books and other publications on politics and historical events. Being in retirement he is widening his topic range.
